About

Julie "Jaye" Williams, MA, NCC, LPC-S

"One of the greatest gifts of life is progressive change. Foundational principles of therapy help identify areas of strengths while also focusing and building on what is working as opposed to what is broken. My role as a therapist is to help you tap into those transferable strengths and skills and find ways to develop those assets in other areas of your life. Positive, progressive change is always the goal in our work together. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you to help achieve the change you seek and desire." -Jaye Jaye Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a National Certified Counselor practicing in the state of Texas. She is also a Certified MBTI(r) Master Practitioner, trained mediator, and TKI Conflict Mode certified. She holds masters' degrees in Professional Counseling and School Counseling, both from Amberton University. Prior to transitioning into the helping profession, Jaye worked in public education for 17 years as a teacher, counselor and case manager for emerging adult students. In 2015, Jaye stepped out on faith and into her greatest passion; empowering individuals, couples, teams, and organizations as the principal and CEO of JW Counseling, Coaching and Consulting Services. Jaye has experience in aiding clients in the areas of intrapersonal, interpersonal and relationship matters, couples counseling, family counseling, self-awareness, self-esteem, career and academic counseling and coaching, anxiety and depression, and a host of other mental health matters. Her background as an educator, coach and consultant equips her with the ability to adapt to her client’s varied learning styles and comfort levels.
